SENATE BILL 1383 COMPLIANCE ACTION PLAN FOR SERVICES AND PROGRAMS RELATED TO SOLID WASTE, RECYCLING AND ORGANICS COLLECTION
Recommendation
Proposed Motion:
1. Authorize City Manager, or designee, to submit revised Senate Bill 1383 Compliance Action Plan extension request extending deadline to December 31, 2027.
2. Authorize City Manager, or designee, to maintain current solid waste handling services contract until June 30, 2027 term end date and suspend ongoing contract negotiations.
3. Authorize City Manager, or designee, to execute RFP for new contract commencing July 1, 2027 following Republic contract expiration.
