HOUSING ELEMENT UPDATE

Summary

Staff has nearly completed the final draft 2021-2029 City Housing Element for Regional Housing Needs Assessment Cycle 6. Staff plans to release this document for public review and then submit the revised draft Housing Element to HCD for a mandated second check to ensure substantial compliance with state law no later than July 1, 2024.
